Dave Stevenson brings more than 34 years of labour relations experience to LabourLink, along with a reputation that truly precedes him. Throughout his career, Dave has earned deep respect from both employers and union representatives for his steady professionalism, his fairness, and his ability to resolve even the most difficult workplace issues with clarity and calm.

Dave spent nearly three decades supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, where he became a trusted advocate and a long-serving union leader. His 19 years of union involvement including over 14 years as a National Servicing Representative gave him a comprehensive, real-world understanding of collective agreements, workplace conflict, and the pressures facing organizations and employees alike.

What sets Dave apart is his approach. Employers consistently express appreciation for the way he navigates challenging situations: direct but respectful, knowledgeable without ego, and always focused on practical, sustainable solutions. His colleagues describe him as a person of integrity, someone who listens carefully, communicates honestly, and brings people back to the table when it matters most.

Dave’s experience spans workplace accommodations, conflict resolution, harassment investigations, grievance handling, joint employer-union training, and collective bargaining. No matter the issue, he brings the same steady presence and commitment to fairness that have defined his entire career.
